Ji Feng
Boya Professor of Physics 博雅特聘教授
Ji Feng is a Professor at the International Center for Quantum Materials (ICQM), School of Physics, Peking University. His research focuses on developing and applying advanced electronic structure methods to study physical responses in quantum materials. His recent interests include density functional perturbation theory (DFPT), spin dynamics, magnon transport, and phonon in magnetic materials.
He received his Ph.D. rom Cornell Univesrsity in 2007, where he worked under the guidance of Profs. Roald Hoffmann and Neil W. Ashcroft, on high pressure phases on light-element compounds. He then worked as postdoc at Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania, before joining ICQM, School of Physics at Peking University.
